A well organized race requires a team of great volunteers. Volunteers are
responsible for things such as race packet pick-up, marking the course, starting
the race on time, directing traffic and runners, keeping the runners hydrated on
the course, manning the finish line, and cleaning up after the race. Volunteers
are the backbone of any race and your assistance is critical. Volunteering
doesn't take much time, so please consider volunteering for one of Second Wind's
races. You will earn 50 points towards Build a Better Second Wind and
you could win great prizes.
